In Puerto Rico I’ve notice a large increase in teenage pregnancy and in many schools are a huge percentage of young pregnant, this is very worrying being pregnant at such a young age. Also they can have pregnancy complication also they have to stop their studies or work temporarily.
In this statistic made in 2003, we can observe the percentage of pregnant teenagers in every town of Puerto Rico. Many of these have increased and decreased, but if you count in general, it increased dramatically and tells us that they haven’t had sexual education. Several groups suggested making this graphic educating youth through lectures and classes on sexuality and several groups have made the decision to go through schools and universities to donate condoms to prevent pregnancy and also diseases.
This is so true in Puerto Rico we have a lot of teenagers with childrens being moms so soon. They haven't enjoy their life when they are having babes. Love the article because not everybody knows how many teenagers are getting pregnant at this times in this island.

ResponderEliminarIts incredible how many teenagers are getting pregnant so fast, and they even aren't prepared at such age. I think we should educate more these kids and show them how to have safe sex.
